I don't want to be alone.
I do want to be with you.
I don't want to be stuck at home,
Unless it's there with you.
Two people in the world
Are meant for each other.
That would be you and I,
Sharing our lives together.
Sometimes I may not show my feelings,
But I cannot help revealing
What you've done within my heart;
You've planted your seed --
Taken care of my every need.
Shining like a star!
I certainly don't want to hesitate
Telling you what's on my mind.
But in my head, there's a barricade
Growing weaker in time.
As I grow more comfortable
My feelings will easily flow.

Love Is What You Get
These thoughts pour out of my head,
And onto the paper I write.
After the way this day has been,
This is a pretty good night.
Plans have been made,
And the date has been set.
When you give love,
Love is what you get.
Free as nature; not confined.
Roaming in search of a dream.
A dream of forever,
Symbolized by the golden ring.
Most has remained the same;
No change as of yet.

Mansion Up Above
There's a love in my heart,
For one I never really knew.
Now He is the center of my life,
And part of every thing I do.
He has the directions to a better place -
For only through Him, may we go forward.
The road may not always be of gold,
But the destination will be the reward.
All we really need to carry,
Is Faith, Hope, and Love.
For this is the real key,
To the mansion up above.

Mr. Snowman,

I was walking down the street
And what did I see?
Him looking at her,

What ever will I say?
What ever will I do?
I can't keep

She's walking down the street
With no shoes on her feet.
She's wearing a bright red bonnet
With yellow dots on it.
She makes my stomach quiver
With all she delivers.
I can't get her off my mind.
I think of her all the time.
What's a man to do,

She's so full of class
With wine in her glass.

To make the earth quake.

Over And Over
I wake up every morning,
And head on out the door.
Always dreaming this one,
Will be better than before.
I work all day long,
And then wonder what for.
The same old thing each day;
Nothing new in store.
Over and over and over again,
Just waiting for the change.
Please let it be near --
It must be in range.
I go home every evening,
At the end of my shift.
There's no one to welcome me.
No one to give me a lift.
That's what I'm searching for;
The change that I need.
A little companionship in my life.
Should I beg and plead?
The time will come, I know.
But the wait is so tough.
Why is it so hard,
To find someone to love?

Remembering The Love
I'm remembering the love,
Of such a wonderful girl.
She always made me feel,
As if I were on top of the world.
I always think about her,
And the time that we shared.
She is someone special;
For whom I've always cared.
I occasionally wonder,
If we'll ever reunite.
That would be the happiest day,
Of my entire life.
I'll continue to dream,
And I'll continue to pray.
For the time to be with the woman,
I'm loving today!

River Of Emotion
My world is spinning,
It's going around and around.
Once it stops,
It begins to go up and down.
There is no stability,
It's always in motion.
Will I ever survive,
This River of Emotion?
It flow constantly,
It never seems to give.
Will I escape from this river?
Will I have a chance to live?
One minute there's love,
The next there's hate.
Just when I feel in control,
Someone opens the floodgate.
This is not a calm body,
This River of Emotion;
I just want to tame it,
And finally love someone.
Like a whirlpool,
Going around and around,
I can feel my heart,
Going down, down, down.
Put a lock in the flow,
And it can be quite still.
Add a little love,
And the heart will begin to heal.
Just as with life,
It's not always fun.
But we learn so much,
From the River of Emotion.

The Ball Game
You asked me one day
To go out to the ball game.
The clouds rolled in,
Oh, what a shame.
Will there be a delay?
Will they still play?
The clouds rolled on by,
So let the balls begin to fly.
Sitting across from the Marlboro Man,
With a bunch of peanuts in your hand.
When he hit the ball with his bat,
I almost lost my 'ice cream in a hat'.
A big plate of nachos,
With enough peppers to choke a horse.
A home run hit so far,
We're leading the game - the crowd roars.
A pretzel with mustard, oh, what a mix.
Now I'll never be the same.
We all had a wonderful time,
Even though the home team didn't win the game.
